Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about running teams and tournaments on Tournora.

Getting started

What is Tournora?

Tournora helps you organise football and futsal: manage your team and squad, record matches, and run tournaments with fixtures, standings, and brackets.

How much does it cost?

Tournora is free during the beta, and you don't need a card. Paid plans with higher limits may come later; see Plans.

How do I sign in?

Sign in with your Google account. The first time, you choose a display name and username and confirm your age.

Which sports are supported?

Football and futsal. More sports may follow.

Which languages can I use?

English and Khmer. Switch language from the menu at the top of any page.

Teams

How do I create a team?

Go to Teams and choose Create team. During the beta you can create up to two teams.

How do players join my team?

The people who manage a team can invite a player with a private invitation link, or share a team join code that the player enters on the Join a team page.

Can I add players who don't use Tournora?

Yes. Add them to your squad by name, with an optional jersey number and position. They appear in your squad and tournament rosters without needing an account.

Can I be in more than two teams?

Yes. The limit only counts teams you create. You can join as many teams as you're invited to.

Who can see my team?

Public teams appear in Discover teams and anyone can view them. Unlisted teams can be opened only with their link. Private teams are visible only to their members.

Tournaments

How do I run a tournament?

Create a tournament, choose its format and rules, add teams, and publish it when you're ready. Until you publish, it stays a private draft.

Which tournament formats are available?

A league (round robin), a knockout bracket, or groups followed by a knockout stage.

How does my team enter a tournament?

The organizer can invite your team, share a tournament registration code, or add your team by name. If they add it by name, you're asked to confirm it's your team so the entry links to your Tournora team.

How are standings worked out?

Automatically, from official match results, using the points and tie-break order the organizer chose.

Is there a limit on tournaments?

You can create up to two tournaments during the beta. Taking part in tournaments with your team doesn't count toward that limit.

Privacy and safety

Who can see my profile?

Your display name and username are public. Optional details such as your bio, location, and positions stay private until you make each one public, and your email address is never shown.

Can people under 18 use Tournora?

Yes, from age 12. Players aged 12 to 17 need a parent or guardian to approve their account, and their optional profile details always stay private.

How do I delete my account or data?

Send us a privacy or data request saying what you'd like removed. Team and tournament owners can also delete their own teams and tournaments in settings.

How do I report abuse or a safety concern?

Contact us and choose Safety concern, with a link to the page involved.
