Tournora Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tournora, including the Tournora website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Tournora is currently offered as a beta service. Features may change, be added, removed, suspended, or discontinued as development continues.

The Service is operated by FGLabx (“Tournora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

1. The Service

Tournora provides tools for organizing and managing sports-related activities, including teams, squad information, matches, tournaments, fixtures, results, standings, tournament registrations, and public team or tournament pages.

Certain features may allow users to create, upload, publish, or manage information about teams, tournaments, players, participants, and other individuals.

The Service is primarily an organizational platform. Tournora is not the organizer, referee, governing body, employer, agent, or representative of teams or tournaments created by users unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Beta Service

Tournora is currently in beta.

During the beta period, the Service may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, performance limitations, or unexpected behavior. Data structures, interfaces, features, and availability may change without prior notice.

You should maintain appropriate independent records of information that is important to your team or tournament.

We do not guarantee that beta features will remain available or that all beta data will remain compatible with future versions of the Service.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 12 years old to create a Tournora account.

Users who are 12 through 17 years old may be required to obtain authorization from a parent or legal guardian before their account becomes fully active.

If you are a parent or guardian authorizing a minor's use of Tournora, you confirm that you have authority to provide that authorization and understand that the minor may use features permitted by the Service.

You must provide accurate information when creating and using your account.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your authentication credentials secure.

Tournora currently may use third-party authentication services such as Google and Supabase Authentication. Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

4. Teams, Tournaments, and Roles

Users may create or participate in teams and tournaments and may be assigned different roles or permissions.

The person designated as an owner or authorized administrator may be able to manage members, tournament teams, match information, results, media, invitations, and other administrative information.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to act on behalf of a team, tournament, organization, or participant when using administrative features.

Tournora does not independently verify every user's authority to represent a team or organization.

5. Information About Other People

Tournora allows authorized users to create squad entries or tournament participant records for individuals who may not have their own Tournora accounts.

If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for having an appropriate reason and, where required by law, permission to provide and use that information.

You should only provide information reasonably necessary for team or tournament administration.

You must not use Tournora to publish sensitive or unnecessary personal information about another person without appropriate authorization.

Where Tournora provides privacy or visibility controls, you are responsible for selecting appropriate settings.

6. User Content

“User Content” includes text, names, team information, tournament information, logos, posters, profile information, match information, images, and other content submitted through the Service.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant Tournora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and provide features you request.

For content you designate as public or unlisted, this license includes displaying that content to people who are permitted to access the relevant page.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and use your User Content.

You remain responsible for your User Content.

7. Public and Unlisted Content

Certain teams and tournaments may be configured as public, unlisted, or private.

Public information may be accessible without signing in and may be indexed by search engines.

Unlisted information may be accessible to anyone who has the relevant link, even though it is not intended to appear in normal public discovery.

Private information is intended to be available only through authorized access.

You are responsible for reviewing visibility settings before publishing information.

Do not publish information that you do not want others to access.

8. Match Results, Standings, and Tournament Information

Tournora may calculate or display fixtures, results, standings, qualification positions, brackets, statistics, or similar information based on information entered by users.

Tournament organizers and authorized users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of official scores, disciplinary information, team registrations, fixtures, and other tournament information.

Tournora does not guarantee that user-entered results or tournament information are accurate or officially recognized by any sporting organization.

Calculated standings, rankings, brackets, or statistics should be reviewed by the relevant tournament organizer where accuracy is important.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use Tournora to break applicable laws; impersonate another person or falsely claim authority to represent a team or organization; harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against, or exploit another person; upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, or harmful content; access or attempt to access accounts, teams, tournaments, systems, or data without authorization; interfere with the security or operation of the Service; probe, attack, scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access to the Service in a manner that harms the Service or other users; distribute malware or malicious code; abuse invitations, registration codes, authentication systems, or rate limits; or use personal information obtained through Tournora for unauthorized marketing, surveillance, harassment, or unrelated purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

Tournora and its software, branding, interface, design, documentation, and original content are owned by or licensed to FGLabx, except for User Content and third-party materials.

These Terms do not give you ownership of Tournora's intellectual property.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Service except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us.

11. Third-Party Services

Tournora relies on third-party infrastructure and services, which may include Google, Supabase, Vercel, and other service providers.

Availability of Tournora may therefore depend partly on third-party services that we do not control.

Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access to the Service where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, address violations of these Terms, or operate the beta service safely.

You may stop using Tournora at any time.

Where account deletion functionality is available, you may use it according to the available account settings. Otherwise, you may use any account or data-request method made available through the Service.

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, audit, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or preservation of tournament history.

13. Service Availability

We aim to provide a useful and reliable Service, but Tournora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, particularly during the beta period.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent storage of data, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any particular feature.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tournora and FGLabx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use or inability to use the Service, loss or corruption of data, reliance on user-entered tournament information, disputes between users or teams, third-party services, or unauthorized access outside our reasonable control.

Where applicable law does not allow a particular limitation, that limitation applies only to the maximum extent legally permitted.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms as Tournora develops.

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice through the Service or another appropriate method.

The updated Terms will state their effective date.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

16. Governing Law

Unless mandatory law applicable to you requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Japan, unless applicable consumer law requires a different forum.
